Childhood
On April 20, 1889, Adolf Hitler was born to Alois Schickelgruber Hitler and his third wife, Klara Poelzl. He became their fourth child (out of six). Hitler became a very lazy and moody child who had an anger problem. Hitler and his father often got into fights, so they were distant. Although Adolf had anger issues and was distant from his father, he was extremely close to his mother, who died in December, 1908 from cancer.
Education
As a child, Adolf showed the potential to do great in school and did do well up until a point. He was one of those “popular” kids. Hitler got into fights with the other kids and lost his popularity. When he got into secondary school, he realized it was tougher than his former school, so he ended up not trying at all. Later, when he was 15, he failed his exams and was told to repeat the year. Instead, he dropped out of school with no education at all.
Career
After Adolf dropped out of school and failed to get into an art school, he turned around his interests and became fascinated by politics. He was then by impressed the anti-Semitism. This is where he grew his hatred for Jews. During World War I, Hitler volunteered to fight for Germany. He later on became corporal and eventually the dictator of Germany.
Accomplishments
When Hitler volunteered to fight for the German Army during World War I, he gained respect and the rank of corporal. Adolf won many awards for bravery, including the Iron Cross First Class. He also became the dictator of Germany and changed the world for the worse.
Death
In 1944, someone attempted to assassinate Hitler. The following year on April 29, 1945, it was said that he married his girlfriend, Eva Braun. The next day, they committed suicide together in a bunker. After that, Germany soon surrendered.
Fun Facts
As a hobby, Hitler enjoyed drawing things, especially hands. Later on, after Hitler died, people found a collection of hands that were drawn by him.
